Semi-Auto Yoke Lock

Our Semi-Auto Yoke Lock system is a simple mechanism which holds the yoke in a part closed position - as it would be if you were holding the yoke handle partly closed waiting to catch an animal.  

This gives a gap for the animal to aim for and only a small movement at the last moment for the operator to fully close the yoke. 

The Semi-Auto Yoke Lock gap width is adjustable. This is separate to the adjustment which varies the width of the closed yoke. The lock can be easily engaged and disengaged as required.

As the photos show, when a Semi-Auto Yoke Lock is fitted to the yoke, the yoke bars are fitted with side wings to keep the animals attention focused on the centre of the yoke.  These fall away to give a clear path to the animal exiting the yoke.
